Terayama and Handke were both at the experimental theatre festival "experimenta 3" in Frankfurt, West Germany, in June 1969 (Tenjo Sanjiki performed two plays there), but I don't know if they really met. Handke wrote a newspaper article about the festival, but he didn't mention Terayama in it. Terayama's short film "Laura" (1974) might be inspired by Handke's "Publikumsbeschimpfung", which premiered at "experimenta 1" in 1966, also in Frankfurt.

I remember as a kid when my brother and I had a list of chores to do around the house. “Dishes” always meant both washing and drying the dishes with a dishtowel.

Our body(s), precisely say, parts of the body have their own language(s).Our thought (usual thinking) is not able to translate it into our common language(s).Those languages of body parts are basically not objective. It seems to be subjective.and not for the common communication between us.These are even not the language.However they can tell us something.In this case, I would like to say that everything has own language, flower pot, window sill , bookshelf, etc.. They are telling us something. Dance what I imagine potentially mediates between them.
